Had a couple of half days today. In the AM , we had Bill Hodsen and crew from "Surprising Suffolk". We decided to try our luck bu the beach for the Blues and Spanish instead of the kings. There was still alot of chop and swell out there and the ladies wanted a nice ride. We caught a few blues and a spanish but it was far from hot and heavy...... Thanks folks we will get em' next time!!!!
Dave Daniel and bride had us for the afternoon. We were off to Manns Harbor to catch and release rock on live bait. WE had a great afternoon releasing 25 or more fish up to 6 lbs!!! The rockfish were very healthy and fat, with no sores or lesions on them, which is common this time of year. Hopefully that is a good sign of things to come in the fall during the keeper season!!! WE had a great time with you, see you again....... George
