June 30 trip

Off this morning with Tim Knight and crew for a half day trip. We decided to go look off the beach for a king before the weather turned. We fished a change in about 65 ft of water which was holding bait. We had a few bites here and there all morning. Enough to keep it interesting!! A couple we pulled off were nicer fish to. After it was all said and done we ended up with a nice catch of kings and spanish for the morning.... Thanks guys, see you this winter. GO STEELERS!!! ....... George

June 27 trip.....back in the game

After a long week waiting on parts the Sea Hunter was back in the game with a great day of fishing. We were off with the Byerlys today in hopes of some good weather and great fishing. It did not take us long to get into the bite off the beach a ways. The King Mackerel were there and it was on. We caught all we wanted and went to look for something different. Jeff wanted a Cobia so we headed into the beach to look around. We fished hard but came up short only seeing one late in the day and just as he went down. Jeff has been a trooper the last few years looking for one and sooner or later we will get that elusive trophy for him. A little luck always helps. Thanks again guys and see you soon..... George

Update

The last week or so has been a long one for us. After dealing with what we thought was a fuel issue early in the week, we found out about two injectors that were acting up and needed replacing. Well to make a long story short, after five days waiting on parts from the factory, we are still waiting but hopefully will be up and going tomorrow. The fishing has been steady and we will be glad to get back to it.... To all of you who had trips scheduled with us I apologize to you for the inconvenience and hope to take you again soon. Thanks again... George

Well after a few days of hard Ne winds we finally got back to some ocean fishing today. WE headed down the beach with Andy Deblin and crew for an early fathers day gift for dad. The water looked surprisingly good despite the blow we had, so we decided to look for a cobia. The Spanish mackerel and bluefish cooperated all day but after four hours of looking at rays and turtles with no one with them we headed home. Thanks a lot guys, We will get them next time!!! Thursday June 14 trip

We had high hopes of getting in a full day of fishing off the beach today. But with NE winds 25+ we made the most of it and took Lori Houston and family out for the morning in the sound and
around the Inlet. The fishing was a bit on the slow side but the company and conversation were good. We scrapped out a handful of bluefish and throwback flounder... enough bluefish for dinner anyway!!! Thanks again guys, talk to you in a few weeks and we will do it again... George
