Today the crew of Ed Gaydas joined us for an all day trip. We headed off the beach in search of the Tilefish. It didn't take long before we were on the spot and catching some nice fish. The swell was building from the north wind , so after we had a good catch of Tiles and a few Dolphin we called it a day and headed for the dock....... thanks everyone, we really enjoyed it...... The afternoon brought gusty winds but we managed to capture a good mixed bag for the Doe crew from Vermont!!! WE had a birthday girl as well!!! The catch consisted of Bluefish and Sea Mullett. Here are a couple of pictures of the Birthday girl!!!! Thanks again guys, see you your next time down.... George
Dylan and the family
Today in the morning we had a "Mate in training" fish with us. My 9 year old little cousin, Dylan Hurdle of Norfolk, Va. and the rest of his crew came to catch the big one!!! The wind was blowing pretty stiff so we decided to try our luck in the sound. On the troll we landed several nice bluefish that Dylan leadered up like a pro... WE then tried our luck with the bottom fish and were rewarded with a mixed bag of Sea Mullett, spot, croakers, trout, Blues and a couple of Sea Robin as well. Dlyan worked the "pit" like a pro and kept everybody in the meat!!! Good job little cousin!!!!! And to top it off, it is his Birthday. In a few years we may read about him on the cover of Sport Fishing Magazine.... Happy birthday Dyl, see you soon..... George
Thursday and Friday fishing

The last couple of days has been consistently good for the Sea Hunter and our parties. Both our Thursday and Friday trips had excellent catches of Bluefish and a few Spanish Mackerel as well. These fish are excellent table fair and are a blast to catch on the light tackle we use. Thanks to all of you who fished with us we appreciate you and your business..... Capt. George
Hope to see you soon!!!

August 4 Tiles and Dolphin
Today was slick calm. Perfect For Charles Evans and crew to go off the beach for some action. There was alot of scattered grass along the way , so we stopped to catch a couple of dolphin and then off to the bottom hole. The fish were there and we had a good catch in a little while. On the troll we had a gaffer dolphin and worked our way back inside to the grass from earlier in the day. We ended up the trip getting a few more dolphin on light tackle for a good box of fish. Good work Patsy "Croaker" Evans and crew. See you soon... George
August 3 full day
WE headed back off the beach today with Ron Pojman and crew to calm seas and hopefully some good fishing. It didn't take long before we were in the bite of tilefish. It was a steady bite all morning and we ended up with a good catch. The troll on the way home was kinda slow producing a barracuda and a wahoo bite off. Thanks for the day guys see you in the fall. ...George

August 2 full day trip
Today we headed to the bottom hole with Andrew Ashby and crew for a beautiful day. The fish cooperated and we ended up with a good catch of Tilefish and a few seabass mixed in as well. The trolling bite was slow on the way home with just a couple of bites. But the boys had a box full so we could not complain.... Thanks again guys, see you in a few..... George
July 31 and August 1 reports
Tuesday and Wednesday fishing was pretty good overall with a good mix of fish. The ocean was a little rough but we managed to catch a good number of blues and spanish. The rest of the time was spent in the sound catching blues and spanish again as well as several sea mullett (whiting) on the bottom. All in all the fishing has been good. Thanks to all of you who fished with us and hope to see you again soon..... Capt. George
